Overseas trainees in obstetrics and gynaecology in the UK

Overseas trainees have travelled to gain experience in the UK for many years. The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists maintains close ties with its overseas members in order to continue the historical links that provide doctors with training and service provision. In recent years, changes have affected the training opportunities available. This article provides practical advice and a guide to training within the UK. In addition, there is practical advice to overseas trainees who are considering this as an option.
